Once again I had the priviledge of taking pictures of little Cheyan Alexa. This time we were brave and tried to get some shots of her au natural! She did well...I didn't get pee on me once...she saved that for Shelley, Grant and Nana!!!

You Fooled Me!!!

YUP, Kaelyn....we fooled you!

That isn't the easiest thing to do with Miss "has to know everything". The best I could come up with to get her out the door was a "meeting"...well Kaelyn had to know what kind of meeting, where was the meeting, how long would the meeting be and who was coming to the meeting....
the best mommy could come up with was...."I don't know?"

Pathetic, I know, but I'm not the best at thinking fast on my feet...If I started to lie more than I had already I would be getting myself into deep trouble....

So we arrived at Hudson's house....he welcomed us and thought it was neat that we came for a visit....He was excited to show Kaelyn the balloons his daddy had put up...."they are to attract the hummingbirds!" he told Kaelyn.

Apparently, he had been fooled as well!

Well, eventually we had to tell the truth!

SURPRISE!

There is no meeting! This is a birthday party for you, Hudson and Brandon!

And this was not just any party but a POOL PARTY.
And what fun they had!

A Trip to Remember!

Well, summer is upon us and with that comes the end of a school year....and for Kaelyn and her classmates that means their first school year! And what a wonderful year it was...of course we would expect nothing less than fun with Mrs. Poort as a teacher! When I asked Kaelyn who the class clown was in her class she quickly quipped..."Mrs Poort"!
For Kaelyn this is somewhat of a bitter sweet ending....she will move on to another school and so says farewell to the friends that she has made and grown with over the past year.

The last day of kindergarten ended with a memerable class trip....A ride on the train and a picnic at Happy Ralph's. That is what the kids will remember anyway....I think us mom's and teachers will probably just remember that we were freezing!!!

After the train station it was off to Happy Ralph's for a picnic, playtime on the park and a little hike to check out the aminals and feed the ducks and the fish!
